We are seeking Cloud Architects to architect, design and develop cloud computing applications and services. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science principles and concepts, as well as experience with Azure and related application software, to perform the duties of the position. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

 

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the application development teams on Microsoft Azure and SOA implementations; train and share knowledge with development teams.

• Develop commercial applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, ADO.NET Entity framework, and PowerShell.

• Design and architect Enterprise-Services (SOA, Micro Services) and build large-scale web services and APIs.

• Design and build Azure PaaS services - Web Sites/Web Roles/Worker Roles/Web Apps/Storage/Azure Service Bus.

• Build web code using HTML5, CSS3/SASS/LESS, AngularJS, JQuery and Knockout.

• Build large-scale content management systems with localization, workflows and versioning features.

• Integrate Federated Identity (ADFS) or oAuth (Facebook, LiveID, etc.) into web services.

• Serve as the focal point for all technical issues and initiatives on the projects and ensuring that all components of the technical architecture are properly implemented.

• Maximize productivity of projects teams by establishing programming design and technical standards, training team members and providing advisory and troubleshooting support.

• Keep current with industry trends of development technologies and assist in evaluating development plans.

• Establish, adopt, communicate and enforce standards and policies for system documentation, best practices and policies.

• Create integration reference architectures and blue-prints.

• Evaluate potential applications, services and infrastructure; research and share new trends and best practices within the industry and identify ways to solve business problems.

• Implement continuous integration, support system testing, integration testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing, Support deployment and installation.

• Write quality code that complies with software development fundamentals using Agile development practices.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or any related IT field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any position(s) involving Cloud architecture and development.

 

Qualified applicants must also have the following certifications:

1. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).

2. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD).

 

Qualified applicants must also have at least three (3) years of experience working with the following:

 

1. Microsoft Azure, Azure PaaS, Azure SaaS, Azure Storage, Micro Services, Azure Service Fabric.

2. App Services, Azure Web Apps, API Apps, Logic Apps. Azure AQL Server, Document Database, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Store.

3. Azure Service Bus, Notification and Event Hubs.

4. Azure Key Vault and Azure Active Directory.

5. Azure App Insights, App Dynamics, API Management.

6. Virtual Network, Traffic Manager, VPN Gateway, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute.

7. Microsoft .Net, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Web API, REST services.

8. JSON, JQuery, OData. Entity Framework, ADO.Net. Microsoft SQL Server.
